Geocode French addresses offline
One file for all of France, read locally. No server, no API key, and the addresses you geocode never leave your machine.
Get started
The file for France is 365 MB and holds 26.1 million addresses from the BAN national address registry. Download it once, checked against the signed release; every query after that runs on your machine, with no API key and no rate limit.

A query that says just Paris, Lyon or Marseille finds the address in its arrondissement. An optional points-of-interest layer for France (231 MB) is described in the documentation.
